Our dharma teaching focus on needs of the Earth, ecosystems and people who are working for justice for those who have been marginalized by the mainstream culture.. * Zen tradition is rigorous. It can seem a bit rigid until we discover the deep compassion and simplicity embedded in Zen culture. If this is your first Zen retreat, you will be required to go over 3-5 hour long online modules to prepare for this retreat. We highly recommend that you attend our half day sits before applying for this retreat. * Will you be missing any sits or part of the day? Let us know so that we are not worried about your safety. If you are joining in person and do not live very closeby, we will organize for you to stay in South Boulder at our home or at a sangha member's home. You will need to bring your sheets/towel etc. * Will you be able to do rapid COVID test before arriving in person?
