1.5 to stay alive

On June 12th, three Boulder groups (Eco-dharma Sangha, Our Sacred Earth, and StarHouse) invite you to StarHouse for a celebration in honor of our sacred earth on this worldwide day of prayer & action for the planet and a call for world leaders to commit to a 1.5 degree limit on global temperature rise. Six months after world leaders reached the Paris Climate Agreement, we will join with communities around the world in coming together in a day of beautiful commitment and blessing for the earth as a part of global Sacred Earth, Sacred Trust events.

Our day will include celebration, reaffirmation, re-assertion of our love for our sacred home. We will have an opportunity to work on StarHouse land from 10 until noon, enjoy a picnic lunch with live acoustic music until 2, along with meditation, circle dance and exploration of local climate actions from 2 until 4:30 pm. Come for part or come for the whole day!

RSVP & Free registration:  Eventbrite and Facebook

For picnic, bring your own food and drinks, weather appropriate clothing. This will be a zero-waste event and everyone is responsible for their own waste-streams.
